Terms of Service

To become a member, you must submit a camp application through our Site. Applications are reviewed by camp leadership and approval is not guaranteed. You must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Upon approval, you will receive a member account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current information during the application process and to update your profile as needed.

As a member, you may post content in chat rooms, discussions, media galleries, and other areas of the Site. You retain ownership of content you create, but grant C?M a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it within the Site.

You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Camp leadership reserves the right to remove content and restrict access at their discretion.

Respect the 10 Principles of Burning Man in all interactions on this platform.

Camp fees and donations are processed through Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your credit card or payment account information on our servers. All payment data is handled directly by these third-party processors.

Camp fees, once paid, are generally non-refundable unless otherwise communicated by camp leadership. Donations to fundraisers are voluntary and non-refundable.

By making a payment, you agree to the terms of service of the applicable payment processor (Stripe or PayPal).

The Camp Questionmark name, logo, and all original content on this Site (including design, code, and graphics) are the property of Camp Questionmark and its contributors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding or Site content without prior written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons may include violation of these Terms, conduct detrimental to the camp community, or prolonged inactivity.

You may request deactivation of your account by contacting camp leadership. Upon deactivation, your profile information will be removed, though some content (such as chat messages and discussion posts) may be retained for community continuity.

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Camp Questionmark is a volunteer-run Burning Man theme camp, not a commercial enterprise.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, C?M and its organizers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
